New Digital Tool For Sustainable Agriculture
A new “digital decision support tool” named DAKIS enables the transition towards more diversified and sustainable agricultural systems has been developed by an international team of researchers from Germany, France, and Czech Republic. DAKIS is a knowledge-based and systems-oriented data integration framework that incorporates digital technologies to support highly complex and innovative decision-making. The core functions are 1) monitoring production, biodiversity, and ecosystem services, 2) providing decision support for farm operations, and 3) supporting communication and collaboration.
