New Digital Tool For Sustainable Agriculture

A new « digital decision support tool » named DAKIS enables the transition towards more diversified and sustainable agricultural systems has been developed by an international team of researchers from Germany, France, and Czech Republic. DAKIS is a knowledge-based and systems-oriented data integration framework that incorporates digital technologies to support highly complex and innovative decision-making. The core functions are 1) monitoring production, biodiversity, and ecosystem services, 2) providing decision support for farm operations, and 3) supporting communication and collaboration.
